To achieve this end, it is essential for Cosmetic Distributor Limited to collaborate with business partners who commit themselves toward a sustainable supply chain through demonstrably ethical and lawful practices in all activities.

These Standards specify the non-negotiable minimum standard of conduct that Cosmetic Distributor Limited expects of its suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors (both in substance and in spirit).

COMPLIANCE & AUDITING

Where required, Cosmetic Distributor Limited reserves the right to inspect, audit, or verify our business partners’ compliance with these Ethical Standards directly or through designated third parties.

LEGAL & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Our business partners shall comply with all local and international laws regarding fair business operations, anti-corruption, human rights, labor, and environmental protection.

Compliance with Applicable Laws:

Business partners are expected to comply with applicable laws in all circumstances. Where local laws conflict with these principles, business partners must meet the strict requirement of the law while striving to fulfill the spirit of these standards.

Anti-Bribery and Corruption:

Cosmetic Distributor Limited requires strict compliance with all relevant anti-bribery and anti-corruption legislation. Business partners shall not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments/gifts to obtain or retain business advantages.

Improper Payments & Gifts:

Gifts or entertainment offered to or received from employees of Cosmetic Distributor Limited must be modest, infrequent, legal, and not provided in exchange for commercial favors. Cash or cash equivalents are strictly prohibited.

Money Laundering & Sanctions: Business partners must prevent their operations from being used as vehicles for money laundering. Furthermore, partners must adhere to international trade restrictions and export control regulations.

Respecting Competition Law: Business partners must comply with anti-trust and fair competition laws, avoiding any unlawful agreements, market manipulation, or anti-competitive practices.

ETHICAL LABOR PRACTICES & HUMAN RIGHTS

Child Labor: Business partners must not employ child labor under any circumstances. Workers must meet the minimum legal age for employment in the country of operation or age 15, whichever is higher.

Forced Labor: All employment must be voluntary. Business partners shall not participate in forced labor, bonded labor, modern slavery, or human trafficking.

Working Hours & Wages: Partners must adhere to legal limits on working hours and provide fair compensation, including minimum wage, legally mandated benefits, and overtime premiums where applicable.

Nondiscrimination & Respect: Workers must be treated with dignity. Business partners shall not tolerate discrimination, harassment, corporal punishment, or abuse based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, or national origin.

Health and Safety: Partners must maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment (and dormitory facilities, if provided) to prevent workplace accidents and occupational health hazards.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Business partners shall actively manage and minimize their environmental impact by conserving resources, reducing industrial waste, managing hazardous materials safely, and encouraging recyclable and sustainable packaging materials in alignment with Cosmetic Distributor Limited's green initiatives.

LOSS PREVENTION & DATA SECURITY

Suppliers are expected to maintain adequate procedures for personnel safety, facility security, IP protection, and business information security.

NON-COMPLIANCE & REVIEWS

Where non-compliance is identified, Cosmetic Distributor Limited will work with the partner to implement a corrective action plan. Failure to address serious violations may result in the suspension or termination of the commercial relationship.
